Education Curriculm

On this page you will find the curriculum for the Techtonics education division. If you are a student and have difficulty understanding something in any of these projects, please submit your questions to the email group. We won't bite. It's our fault for not explaining it clearly enough on the Wiki!

Project 1 - Lighting an LED

Overview

LEDs are one of the most widely used light emitting devices in the electronic world. LEDs come in a wide variety of types, some emitting visible light, some emitting IR light. In this project, you will learn what a circuit is, how to construct one, how LEDs fit into a circuit, and the importance of resistors.
